Baby carrots with peas

(Recipe #12, page 51)

Set the carrots on the stove as described above, with boiling water and butter. Add the shelled peas, take half of each vegetable and proceed as with the carrots. A few bread dumplings can be added shortly before serving, but then you must be careful to use ample stock, which should be thickened with a little potato flour.
